AN INTEGRATED IRELAND FOR THE 21ST CENTURY AFRICANS

Hello Blog Readers,
AN INTEGRATED IRELAND FOR THE 21ST CENTURY BY MANYU DIVISION

An Integrated Ireland for the 21st Century by Manyu Elements Cultural & Development Association (MECA) Ireland, I was at the event representing The Africa Caribbean Forum and Afro In Diaspora Center also promoting the contribution of AfricaVoice Newspaper to the Africa communities as a media partner. It was their annual convention Entertainment & Gala evening featuring DJ, Traditional Dancing from Manyu Division. MECA Ireland is a non-profit organization made up of people from Manyu Division (from the Republic of Cameroon) residing in the Republic of Ireland. Membership is open to all Manyu Elements by virtue of birth or marriage. MECA Ireland is composed of three permanent organs; the local chapters, the national executive committee and the council of chiefs. The local chapters serve as the building blocks for MECA Ireland and are responsible for the activities of their members. At present, MECA Ireland has two main active chapters in Cork and Dublin with more than 100 members nationwide. I was there as their special guest, welcome and honoured in a big way. It was a great event and a pleasurable night out for me. The group traditional dance was performed by Manyu Elements Cultural Member I and other guest joined to support them. That was their first time of launching their dress for the night.
